"CY Steak is a fun place! The Vegas like decor and cabaret entertainment is like nothing here in Denver. The menu is a bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. The oysters were as fresh as could be and the service was right on point. My steak was as good or better than any steak I've had dining out. The place is very classy and surprisingly full of couples. We went late, I'm talking 11:30pm late! The server proudly told me that the kitchen is open until Midnight. Its association with Diamond Cabaret may seem intimidating, but it was surprisingly comfortable. The old world, cabaret atmosphere lends itself well to the silhouettes of dancers just visible through the darkened windows. I believe they do have dancers in the steak house at certain times, I didn't experience this but I don't think I would have minded.

Turns out that the 'CY' of CY Steak is Cliff Young, a restauranteur of some experience and interest from all around the world. He stopped by for an extended chat and was most engaging, as was the food, the entertainment and the venue. Adult in context for sure, but presented in a really elegant manner that honors and appreciates the entertainers.
The food is what I thought I went for and I was NOT disappointed. The menu has a lot of very creative options. I selected the Oysters Rockefeller and the Caprese Salad Clemente, and stopped there not sure how much room I might have left for what looked like excellent steak entrees.
The presentation on the Oysters Rockefeller was spectacular, they were brought to the table flaming! The preparation included a paper-thin slice of prosciutto on top and they tasted awesome. Next the Caprese Salad was not what I was expecting but surpassed any expectation I MIGHT have had. They did fill me up and with a couple glasses of an excellent Pinot Noir, along with the entertainment, my evening was complete.
I can recommend CY Steak for a elegant, adult evening out with flavors and entertainment that I think will be difficult to match in downtown Denver or anywhere else.
